CAPABILITY STATEMENT
Dolphie is a Sunraysia-based building design firm founded by myself, Leigh Ebbels. I have worked with various architects and designers over the years, my integrity and dedication have seen me develop strong relationships with these people and I include them on teams for large projects – they are highly experienced and bring to any project their commitment and reliability that underpins Dolphie’s mission.
I bring together talented professionals who are well suited to perform the services required for delivering superior, client-focussed design – with these professionals, I collaborate to bring into reality buildings with respect for the environment, hi-tech solutions to handle the demands of today’s fast paced technology needs and a creative aesthetic to all projects.
Project experience includes a public, private and corporate clientele. I have had considerable experience in residential, complex commercial, health care, aged care and institutional buildings. I am meticulous in the design and documentation process, and whilst I have led a number of high quality projects, I have solely executed the full-architectural construction documentation on projects in excess of $5m.
I have been involved in nearly three hundred architectural projects ranging from minor scopes of works, renovations to new buildings. Project sizes range from a few thousand dollars to $5m construction cost.
I conduct proficient and timely projects and have been commended on my quality of service, professional approach and project thoroughness.

Dolphie is registered in the State of Victoria and is registered with the Building Commission.
My office systems are designed to maximise quality and production efficiency. Design work and construction drawings are produced using various computer aided design suites, I also use the Microsoft Office suite and other software for project management and scheduling, spatial relationship analysis, word processing, communications and data handling.
Dolphie is dedicated to designing for an environmentally sustainable future. I am involved with passive solar, energy efficient projects and green building materials. I study building design concepts, products and the environmental concerns all working toward a greener, less toxic future. I consider the materials origin, production and installation prior to their selection – all in relation to the budget and building programme.
Each project undertaken by Dolphie is built upon my philosophy of providing quality service and strong project management along with the latest capabilities and sustainable design practices.
